“Dirty Laundry”
Asbestos Movie Screening

‘Ten Ten enthusiastic ECOHites enjoyed a night out and attended the screening of “Dirty Laundry”, a film about the effects of asbestos exposure. The screening was followed by an expert panel discussion.
Linda Reinstein was among the panelists and has had a crucial role in advocating a ban of asbestos imports into the United States. Her advocacy has resulted in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives to move forward with the Alan Reinstein Asbestos Now Act of 2019 – a bill that would ban asbestos importation and use within one year of enactment.
